In this article, I would like to explore an important issue in higher education, namely, “What kind of college education is the most suitable for the purpose of career advancement?
Let’s start by acknowledging that university education is at least four interlocking objectives:
A. Dissemination of knowledge (so that the knowledge of the older generation to the younger generation is preserved).

B. Training of people, for the production of labor necessary for the preservation and progress of the nation and society (engineers, architects, bankers, doctors, lawyers, accountants, teachers, administrators, cabinet ministers, …);

C. Training of researchers necessary for the preservation and expansion of human knowledge;
D. The development and improvement of the internal potential of people (intellectual, moral, emotional, physical, social, cultural, spiritual, …)
My goal in this article is the relationship between the objective and goal BD, Objectives A, C and D are clearly related and mutually enhancing. An educational program that aims to develop and strengthen the research capabilities of students (Objective C) develop habits of independent learning among students, and ultimately lead to the development and improvement of the intellectual potential of individual students (target D ). It will also lead to the transfer of knowledge (objective A) as a byproduct of the focus on independent learning. Similarly, the objectives A and B are related: in order to produce an efficient workforce of the new generation (target B), it is necessary to impart knowledge and skills at their disposal (portal). The question is, is the goal B in conflict with the objectives of C and D, or are mutually reinforcing?
For most students, the main motivation for education is career advancement. From the point of view of the students, an effective education program should increase your chances of finding a job and climbing the career ladder. Therefore, the target B is the most important from its perspective. However, insofar as it relates to the master, target D is the most important. Hence the need to explore the potential for conflict between the two.
